This role requires a strategic thinker with the ability to manage complex logistics and supply networks in the automotive and technology industries. As a Supply Chain Manager, you will ensure that our supply chain practices not only meet business objectives but also enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Job Responsibilities
- Supply Chain Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve product delivery timelines.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to negotiate favorable terms and ensure supply continuity.
- Inventory Control: Oversee inventory management practices to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize excess or obsolete inventory.
- Logistics Coordination: Coordinate logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, and distribution of goods.
- Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve supply chain processes through the integration of new technologies and innovative management practices.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports to track supply chain efficiency, making adjustments as necessary.
- Risk Management: Identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure operational resilience.
- Budget Management: Manage the supply chain budget and forecast operational costs.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with other department heads to align supply chain strategies with overall business goals.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the automotive or technology sectors.
- Proven track record of improving supply chain operations and achieving substantial cost reductions.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with supply chain management software.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
